OK! I finally understood how the SezWho works!

It actually shows all the site where you have entered a published post or a comment. That was the reason why it showed my other blog when I clicked on the badge, because my latest posted item was in there. Whew!

You know what? I feel such a DUNCE after going through all those trouble! Although, I guess I am somehow entitled to err once in a while since I am still an apprentice in blogging. Right? lol!

Anyway, now the site is already functional…sort of. Later, we can update the header and improve on the side bar features. So after the tidying up a bit, we can finally say that we are ready to start.

In the succeeding post, you will get an overview of what this blog is all about. Hopefully, you will get a picture what this blog aims to achieve and how we intend to progress. Please feel free to give your comments and ideas on each of the topics discussed. Because your active participation is highly appreciated and will be vital for the development of this blog.

If you are an Entrecard and a SezWho participant, so much the better.

I got so excited about having a new blog. ‘Have already made plans of how the postings will proceed. However, I did not realize that a lot of fine tuning still has to be done.

One example is on setting up the plug-ins. Since I have registered my other blog to SezWho, I tried to include this site as another blog with a different identity. This site has already been verified and was given a key code.

Good! I said to myself. So, I went to put up the badges on both of my blogs. So far so good, still.

Until I clicked on the badge from this site hoping to see the status of MBA On-line, but to my surprise, it showed Life Quest instead. I tried deleting the link but couldn’t find the way how. When I tried to sign-up a separate account for MBA On-Line, I couldn’t register the email address for this site since they said it was already in use. Kind of frustrating isn’t it?

Anyway, I guess, I still need to understand how to manage this additional function.

For the meantime, please bear with me until I have sorted out these quirks. Then we can start our MBA program. Thanks for visiting and hope you keep on coming back.

Its taking some time to familiarize myself on the inner workings of my new template. I’m used to working with Blogger but I think this WordPress is also okay. Just had some embarrassing moments earlier while putting up my side bars. lol!

Got one big achievement for the day though, I have already signed this blog up with Entrecard. What I did was firstly create my own widget and then signed up for Entrecard.

My widget is shown below. Then after signing up, I tried dropping on a few EC widgets from the campaigns and now I already have 3 advertisers waiting on queue.

I still have a lot of things to do on this site before this blog really gets going.

One thing at a time and eventually this will also be flying.

…for now I guess I need to get some shut eye. We’ll continue this again tomorrow.

You’re right. What does a cross-road picture got to do with today’s topic? Probably not much. But today, I have began a new blog on a different format and yes…on my own domain. Cool isn’t it?
This wouldn’t have happened today if I hadn’t been disapproved from my payperpost application. They said my other blog has “primarily non-written content”.
It made me sad, since I tried so hard to build up traffic on that site for the last three months. But I guess I couldn’t blame payperpost since majority of my post were entries for the Wordless Wednesday.
If anything could be learned from that experience, its on doing the homework of what is supposed to be done. I could’ve dug up that information, that payperpost is unable to approve video blog, photo blogs and blogs with non-written contents.
Now you know why I posted a cross-road…as a reminder for me to do my homework and trek that path.
This blog, MBA On-line will be slightly different from Life Quest. This will be my blogging apprenticeship where we’ll try to share different learning materials, practical applications and my progress report as a 360 degree leader(we’ll discuss this next time). Hopefully, you can take home some learning and eventually we all become a better person at the end of the day.
